|OVERVIEW OF ORGANIZATION:
Camp Goodtimes provides a safety-focused, medically supervised, fun and recreational experience for children with cancer and their families. We provide kids camps, family program, leaders in training and youth programming on site serving roughly 400 participants each summer. Camp Goodtimes also has a variety of in-hospital and year round programming.
|LOCATION / SITES:
Our three Kids camps and three Family Programs are held at Look Lake, UBC Forestry retreat centre. In 2016 our Teen program moved to Mountain View Summer Camp in Hope, BC. Our in-hospital programing takes place at British Columbia Children’s Hospital and Surrey Memorial Hospital. Our Family Fun and bonding events take place all over the province and change each year based on participant attendance.
|ORGANIZATIONS AFFILIATED/ PARTNERED WITH:
We are run through the Canadian Cancer Society. We are affiliated with all three referring hospital.
British Columbia Children’s Hospital, Vancouver Island General Hospital, and Surrey Memorial Hospital (Pediatric Oncology out-patient unit)
Priority is given to the children and families currently on active cancer treatment or receiving palliative or end-of-life care. Siblings have the same ranking and the children living with cancer.

No cost to the participant. All Camp Goodtimes programming and staff are funded through donor dollars from the Canadian Cancer Society.
